Making an Entrance

On Tuesday morning I arrived home from work to see the "new" entryway to my home. I had contracted with Arline Wall and her business partner to install a new hardwood floor and paint the hallway, and they did a wonderful job. Here are "before and after" photos:


I also had my friend Terry Snow bring his dozer by to cut a new trail from my dog yard to the power line right of way I use when training my sled dogs. He did a GREAT job, being careful not to churn up the peat so badly that the permafrost beneath melts. I'm very pleased with the work that was done while I was away.
