I took puppies mushing today. Well, actually they took me mushing. I took the three in two different teams. This was only their second run with a team EVER. They are six-months old.
The teams I ran are;
First;
Torus in single lead
Daisy and Capella in swing
Cassie and Gump in wheel
Second was only four dogs;
Torus
Orion
Gump and Jethro
Each team did 1 1/2 miles. The goal is make it as much fun as possible for the puppies, and bring them home while they still want more. I think we did that.
I could write a report on how well they performed, but if you're a musher you wouldn't believe a word of it. Here is a video that will serve instead. It's hard to argue when you see it with your own eyes.
Thank you, Swanny - I had a grin ear to ear and tears running down my cheeks - that's the best thing I've seen in ages - I took on a 2 1/2 year old Rottie sometime ago who is my friend now but I wish we could communicate like you and yours. Thanks again! That was great!!
