I'm Back On Line

A few days ago my 6-year-old PC died an agonizing death due to some virus that slipped in past Norton.  It was on it's last legs anyway, so I decided to replace it rather than spend money on a professional geek to try to resuscitate the poor old thing.  I was able to salvage my files as I'm fairly diligent about backing up my data, so it wasn't a total disaster.  

My brand new MAC arrived yesterday, and I'm learning how to operate it.  While learning a new operating system and new software has it's challenges, it seems to be progressing nicely, so I'll be posting updates on our recent mushing activities within the next day or two.  

Meanwhile, I'm content that I'll never have to worry about all those damned updates, security risks, viruses, trojans, worms and other Microsoft issues ever again.
